India’s sports crowdfunding helps high level athletes to practice their sport by improving their performance. These objectives are achieved through financing sport equipment, training, without being solely dependent on sponsors.
In India, many sports clubs and sports people have begun to consider sports crowdfunding as a tool and financing option to generate commercial funding. However it is challenging for athletes who are not professionals as in order to qualify for the funding, they need to be at a sufficient high level.
